Working with Launch Tennessee, a public-private partnership focused on supporting the development of high-growth companies in the Volunteer State, these two Tennessee music-driven companies have joined forces to transform the karaoke industry to a technology-driven marketplace that expands the social engagement and revenue opportunities for the industry. Working together, DigiTrax and hiVolume will completely change the way patrons experience karaoke, while also creating new revenue opportunities and unique engagement for venue owners, karaoke jockeys, recording artists and drink brands.

“We have a very inspired, dedicated and on-purpose group that is changing the karaoke landscape,” remarked Joseph Vangieri, CEO of DigiTrax Entertainment, the makers of Karaoke Cloud. “Our Karaoke Summit on October 22, where we’ll fully detail our partnership, will certainly be a turning point for this segment of the music industry.”

“The digital and communications technology that’s evolved to empower the karaoke show host is now emerging to put new tools and capabilities in the hands of the karaoke venue and the patron,” Vangieri continued. “This not only enhances the karaoke experience, it creates lasting engagement between the show host, the venue and the patron, and creates new opportunities for brands that didn’t exist before.”

The Karaoke Summit 2015 will be webcast live from SoKnox Studios, in the incubation complex that DigiTrax Entertainment maintains for music start-ups. Links to the live-to-the-web event will soon be made available on the Summit’s main webpage.

“The synergy brought about by this partnership creates not only an incredible innovative and unique experience for the patron, but adds tremendous value to the industry and our channel partners,” said Michael Amburgey, Founder and CEO of hiVolume Media Company, creators of the flagship karaoQ platform. “It’s about changing the way venues, karaoke show hosts, and patrons interact and engage throughout a night of entertainment and after, elevating it to a truly social music experience.”

“The partnership allows an unprecedented combination of high-quality and exclusive content, venue/patron engagement, and new revenue streams that are going unrealized today,” added Amburgey, when speaking of the power-play between DigiTrax Entertainment and hiVolume Media Company. “What Spotify, Pandora, Netflix, and Hulu do is create personalization and instant gratification and make it widely accessible. We are doing exactly that, but for the karaoke industry that sorely needs innovation, in a time where in-home entertainment and gaming is keeping people at home and causing patron dwell time, entertainment quality, and drink sales to decline.”
